We are a staffing agency recruiting on behalf of a successful New York-based photographer seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing & Administrative Assistant.

This role is a blend of social media marketing, content management, and executive support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and administrative work. You will help grow the photographer's online presence while also ensuring their day-to-day operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and understands how to engage audiences through social media and digital marketing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Social Media

Manage and grow social media accounts across key platforms

Create, schedule, and publish engaging content

Edit and optimize posts, captions, and promotional content

Assist with content planning and campaign execution

Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to grow audience reach

Support digital marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and bookings

Administrative Support

Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination

Screen incoming calls and inquiries

Respond to client messages and general correspondence

Organize administrative tasks and ensure follow-ups are completed

Assist with day-to-day business operations and workflow management

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in social media marketing or digital marketing

Excellent written and spoken English

Strong understanding of major social media platforms

Experience creating and editing social media content

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting photographers, creatives, agencies, or personal brands

Familiarity with content scheduling and social media management tools

Basic graphic design or content editing experience

Experience in appointment booking or administrative support roles

Prior remote work experience
