The Marketing and Events Coordinator will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness and engagement through strategic event planning and execution, ensuring successful management of events.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities
  • Organizes marketing activities to promote events
  • Manages event schedule and coordinates resources and travel required for event
  • Receives and responds to questions and concerns from event attendees
  • Creates new events and manages activities for events
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and staff training
  • Coordinates and plans logistics for events
  • Manages event schedule and coordinates travel
  • Organizes and orders necessary marketing materials for events
  • Tracks and reports on event spending and budgeting
  • Cross-department collaboration between accounting, application, marketing, and production
  • Assist sales, marketing, production, accounting, and application teams with projects as directed

Skills

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to travel by car and plane for events as needed
  • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Sitting, standing, bending, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working, planning or managing events
  • Good organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good work ethic and time management
  • Skill with word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Local candidates preferred
