Marketing and Membership Assistant (Part-time)
The Florida Justice Association is growing and has an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Marketing & Membership Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, creative environment, and thrive on exceeding member expectations. The role involves supporting marketing efforts and assisting with membership recruitment and retention campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting, proofreading, and scheduling content for email campaigns, newsletters, and social media content
- Support production of marketing materials (graphics, flyers, brochures, event promotions, sponsor recognition)
- Help maintain brand consistency across all communications
- Track and report metrics on marketing campaign performance and engagement
- Assist with membership recruitment and retention campaigns, including member list management, outreach, and follow-up
- Prepare call sheets, reports, and materials for phonebanks and special initiatives
- Support member data entry, updates, and database maintenance
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with email marketing or CRM/database systems, a plus
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for content ideation and first-draft generation is a plus
- Interest in nonprofit, advocacy, or membership association work preferred
