Mobile Electronics Technician
DATTCO, INC is a third-generation, family-owned transportation company and the largest private passenger transportation company in New England. They are seeking a Mobile Electronics Technician who will travel to various locations to install and troubleshoot electronic systems on vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Travel to DATTCO locations to install/troubleshoot 12 volt and 24-volt electronics (cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios) on DATTCO and/or customer vehicles
- Accurately record and report information regarding installs/repairs
- Responsible for ordering and controlling inventory levels
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Drivers license
- Previous 12v/24v installation and service experience
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts such as GPS, relays and video systems
- Availability to work weekends/overnights/overtime as required
- Technician will be required to supply their own tools for this position
- Must possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks
- Must possess excellent computer skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be a self-starter
- English communication skills
- School bus/coach bus experience preferred
