SUMMARY
The National Account Manager, Builder - Florida for Westlake Royal Roofing and Stone Solutions is responsible for cultivating, conversion and retention of national and regional builder accounts for roofing and stone sales in the eastern region of the US. 

This position is responsible for Westlake Royal Roofing and Stone Solutions products.  Preferred residence location is Florida.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide external support to account managers to meet new customer and sales budget goals while supporting the divisional strategy and objectives. Includes participation in high-level customer meeting, assisting Account Managers in setting priorities, etc. Manage key builder relationships within the  Florida Market (Divisional teams for National Builders, architects and designers that specify for residential projects, and the local supply chain where needed to support the local builder business.)
Act as liaison between other departments (production, technical services, credit, product management, supply chain) and sales team to manage escalation and issue resolution
Maintain, develop, and improve account relationships in cooperation with multiple local sales teams within the Westlake Building Products family.

Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships 
Maintain accurate client records, keeping internal and external stakeholders up to date on current contracts/rebates/build schedules
Develop sales strategy to capture increased market share across the territory. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients for both Stone and Roofing product categories
Work with local Territory Managers, Regional Managers and customers to sell premium products on value vs. pricing
Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
Ability to problem solve and effectively communicate with customers
Detailed communication on direction of efforts and pipeline to internal management while communicating with the sales team regularly
Maintain awareness of competitor’s activities in order to proactively retain business. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.

Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales. Perform the primary thinking encompassed by this job description. Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

This position will require at least 50% travel primarily in the state of Florida

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in building products
Ability to negotiate pricing with accounts in multiple markets
Project management skills
Analytical, financial and data driven
Ability to multitask and work with multiple opportunities simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. An able public speaker, familiar with all software used in sales presentations
Extensive selling and sales administration experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
MS Office and Salesforce CRM suite proficient

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position is remote and will require, at times, at least 50% travel.  Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week and riding in automobiles for several hours per day is required. Insurability and valid US state driver’s license is mandatory.
