Onboarding Coordinator
Star Pediatrics by Abound Health is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to join their Talent Acquisition team. The Onboarding Coordinator plays a key role in welcoming new hires and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience by guiding them through compliance, background checks, and training.
Responsibilities
- Guide new hires through onboarding paperwork, background checks, and compliance requirements
- Ensure all documentation meets company, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate new hire training and onboarding classes
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic personnel records
- Serve as the main point of contact between new hires and internal departments
- Track onboarding progress and provide updates to leadership
- Support recruiting and scheduling teams to ensure timely nurse placement
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience
- At least 1 year of Human Resources experience or an HR internship
- Strong customer-focused communication skills with the ability to support candidates and internal teams
- Comfortable working in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR information systems (HRIS), and Microsoft Word
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
