This opportunity will suit an ambitious and commercially minded Private Client lawyer who is seeking autonomy to develop and grow their own practice within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm is especially interested in individuals who can bring an existing client following, introducer relationships or a clear strategy for future growth.

The successful candidate will play a central role in the continued expansion of the Private Client offering, working closely with senior leadership while benefiting from a highly regarded national platform, strong internal referral network and excellent infrastructure and support systems.

Location is flexible for the right individual.

Key areas of experience:

Private wealth advisory and strategic estate planning

Wills, lasting powers of attorney and capacity matters

Probate and estate administration, including complex estates

Trust creation, trust administration and ongoing trust work

Succession planning for business owners and family offices

Tax planning liaison with external advisers (e.g. tax counsel, accountants)

International estates, cross-border succession and private client immigration issues

High net worth client relationship management and bespoke advice

Dispute resolution arising from wills, trusts and estates

Family wealth structuring and intergenerational planning

Business development and introducer relationship management

Team leadership, supervision and mentoring experience

Key skills and attributes:

Strong technical Private Client expertise across wills, trusts, probate and estate planning

Established Partner-level experience or readiness to take on a Partner role

Existing client following, introducer network or a demonstrable business plan to drive growth

Proven ability to maintain and develop long-term high net worth client relationships

Commercial awareness with a strategic, growth-focused mindset

Excellent drafting, negotiation and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience managing fee earners

Collaborative, proactive and entrepreneurial approach

Ability to contribute strategically to the continued growth and development of the practice area
