As Strategy Manager in the Corporate Strategy team, you will lead high impact cross-functional initiatives and projects with an emphasis on our product team.

You will prioritize the right initiatives based on impact, scope the problem and identify the root causes, conduct relevant research and analyses, build a proposed solution and synthesize recommendations for Cloudera’s senior leadership. You will also engage with senior stakeholders across the business to understand the business challenges, develop respective strategies, provide thought leadership, and drive business cases.

As a Product Strategy Manager you will:

• Build product hypotheses and design and conduct analyses to identify the root causes

  Identifying high-quality long-term product growth opportunities and identifying operating leverage opportunities across the company

  Lead and structure cross functional initiatives supporting our growth and transformation; Build and test potential solutions; Synthesize key recommendations for the leadership team

  Build business plans to support key investment decisions and resource allocations

We are excited about you if you have:

• Experience with data management vendors, ecosystem, and/or product capabilities

  Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to scope, structure, and solve strategic challenges

  Ability to work in both structured as well as ambiguous situations to drive outcome

  Proven ability to communicate & influence stakeholders at all levels including Executive by turning granular detail and research into actionable insight and a well-structured story-line

  Highly analytical and excellent at leveraging facts and insights to generate and validate strategic hypotheses; proficiency in SQL is a plus

  Strong quantitative and modeling skills with a thorough understanding of financial and accounting concepts including DCF, NPV, IRR etc

You may also have:

• 3-5+ years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated cross-functional and collaborative experience, and a track record of leveraging data for business impact. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in Consulting, Venture Capital, M&A, Corporate Strategy, or similar roles; MBA a plus

  Candidates with a background in solution engineering for data & AI products or data engineering looking to change into less technical but still product centric role are also welcome to apply

  Experience in the Software and/or Business Impact of Analytics, Big Data, Machine Learning/AI, Cloud is a plus

  Experience with Cloud / Product-led growth / SaaS business models is a plus
