Program Coordinator (Apparel and Accessories)
EdwardsX, located in Vancouver, specializes in designing and manufacturing custom apparel and uniforms. They are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to manage program coordination, customer service, and administrative support for recognized brands.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily shipping and tracking of samples to the customers and factories, including packing slip creation, international shipping, customs documentation, and sample returns
- Collect and compile documentation for order confirmation and client invoicing
- Track program progress and assist in maintaining the sample and production schedule
- Handle logistical communication and quotes to support project final delivery
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage and maintain fabrics, trims, sample room and sample library
- Study client requirements and work with the production and design team to provide the best custom solutions to prospective clients
- Support design proofing and technical details for project initiation
- Support tech pack review for clarity, accuracy and completeness
- Support PO and invoicing paperwork proofing and preparation (for client and vendor and both sample and bulk production)
- Work with supply chain partners to obtain pricing and provide quotes to the client utilizing the applicable company pricing mark-up schedule
- Keeps accurate records and documents customer service actions and discussions
- Assist with daily office management tasks, ordering supplies, and supporting the leadership team with various administrative need
- Invoice, data entry and order entry support
Skills
- BS degree in Textile & Apparel or similar preferred; or product development internship and completed Textile & Apparel courses
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, ideally in the apparel industry
- MUST be fluent in English, able to speak, read and write
- Must be proficient with MS Office programs and Adobe Illustrator knowledge is a plus
- Ability to prioritize, work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with tight deadlines and must be able to provide a high level of attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask and can easily adjust to rapidly changing priorities
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must be flexible and able to take direction and have a willingness to learn
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident and live in the Lower Mainland
- Knowledgeable in apparel and decorating techniques (screen print, heat transfers, embroidery etc.) is a plus
