They are seeking a Media Assistant to support the media team by pulling and analyzing data, assisting with campaign setup, and managing social media tools to ensure smooth media operations.

Responsibilities

  • Pull, organize, and review performance data to support client and internal reporting needs
  • Identify performance trends and contribute insights for optimization
  • Create clear and compelling client-facing media reports and decks
  • Assist in setting up and tracking social campaigns across platforms
  • Work within platform backends and understand the fundamentals of setting up, monitoring, and maintaining campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, Criteo, and CTV
  • Ensure campaign setup aligns with strategy and media plans
  • Use tools such as Sprout Social for scheduling, social listening, and basic analytics
  • Conduct community moderation to ensure timely and appropriate responses
  • Willing to learn and assist with reporting and analysis tools such as Triple Whale, Prescient, and media creative analysis platforms
  • Help the team research new opportunities and emerging media trends
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute proactive campaign ideas
  • Maintain accurate campaign documentation, performance logs, and internal notes
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Update and maintain internal media reports to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Accurately track time on an ongoing basis across assigned clients and tasks
  • Assist in client budget management, pacing, and monthly reconciliation across platforms

Skills

  • 1–2 years of experience in digital or social media preferred (agency experience a plus)
  • Hands-on experience setting up or managing paid social campaigns is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable navigating the backend of major social ad platforms
  • Experience with Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager required
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas)
  • Proficient in PowerPoint for building media decks and reports
  • Ability to interpret performance data, starting with basic metrics and progressing toward identifying trends and connections across platforms
  • Strong communicator who feels confident discussing media performance
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable to the fast-changing digital landscape
  • Experience with Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, Criteo, AppLovin
  • Sprout Social experience is a plus
