Verdantas is a leading firm in environmental consulting and sustainable engineering. The Project Controls Specialist I will support project managers by maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective communication among project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure project objectives are met
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders
  • Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and presentations
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, ensuring all relevant information is communicated effectively
  • Track and manage project risks, issues, and changes, escalating as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and other project-related documents
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 Years of Data Analysis Experience
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – particularly Excel
  • Past/Current experience as a project accountant, project controls, or project management
  • Experience in Microsoft Project, Vantagepoint, Power BI, Scheduling, or similar programs
