[Remote] Accounting Associate – Tax & Accounting Firm
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accountants Near Me Inc. is a fast-growing CPA firm based in New York, currently expanding its team in Bangladesh. They are seeking a versatile Accounting Associate who can handle bookkeeping, tax support, client communication, and administrative tasks while contributing to the firm's growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Handle monthly reconciliations, adjusting entries, and clean-ups
- Support with U.S. tax preparation (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065 – mostly data entry and review)
- Assist with client communication via email and our CRM (TaxDome)
- Take on general admin tasks (document tracking, follow-ups, scheduling)
- Contribute to marketing efforts (emails, social media, outreach)
- Help design and improve firm workflows and standards
- Long-term: manage and help grow the Bangladesh accounting team as the firm expands
Skills
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Familiarity with U.S. tax forms a plus
