[Remote] IT Security Analyst

They are seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor and maintain the security of internal systems, respond to security alerts, and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the security of internal information systems, networks, and databases
- Respond promptly to security alerts and investigate incidents to ensure swift resolution
- Conduct vulnerability and threat assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Track and analyze key security performance metrics to improve security posture
- Assist in the development and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
- Up to 3 years of experience in information technology with a focus on cybersecurity
- Knowledge of standard concepts and practices in system administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or GSEC
- Knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST CSF
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workloads and facilitate multiple activities autonomously
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and leadership skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
