[Remote] Junior Sales & Marketing Generalist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SalesRun CPQ is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup revolutionizing how sales teams streamline the configure, price, and quote process. They are seeking a Junior Sales & Marketing Generalist to support US commercial operations and execute sales and marketing initiatives across the entire customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Support roadshows and events: Identify and evaluate relevant trade shows and roadshows for attendance or exhibition; research and shortlist target prospects; manage logistics and preparation; and coordinate targeted post-event follow-up
- Develop and test additional marketing channels: Research and assess marketplace and directory opportunities (e.g., app exchanges, HubSpot Marketplace, Capterra); scope, review, and test print and direct-mail advertising; and support video and email ad campaigns as needed
- Conduct competitive and market analysis: Perform ongoing market and competitive research to understand positioning, messaging, differentiation, and direct competitors, and translate insights into clear positioning recommendations
- Support sales conversations and follow-up: Join sales calls and demos as needed; create clear, structured follow-up emails and documents summarizing discussions, action items, and next steps
- Build and support partner channels: Identify and evaluate potential channel and technology partners; help design partnership program mechanics; nurture partner relationships; and support partner enablement efforts
- Coordinate prospect and customer meetings: Prepare and schedule meetings with prospects and customers; facilitate introductions; and develop tailored demo and presentation materials aligned to customer needs
- Create and maintain sales materials: Build and update sales decks, one-pagers, light white papers, and other collateral that clearly tell the product story and help move deals forward
- Bridge marketing and sales: Act as a connective tissue between marketing (e.g., SEO, LinkedIn, demand channels) and sales, ensuring insights from calls, events, and the field are translated into high-impact content, messaging, and assets
Skills
- Hands-on experience working close to sales and/or marketing in a tech or IT-driven company (for example, software, AI tools, IT services or digital products)
- Genuinely interested in technology: not afraid of concepts like AI, LLMs or cloud software and can quickly understand how a product works and why customers need it
- Ability to write clear, sharp follow-up emails and sales materials in English and enjoy turning messy call notes into structured, useful documents
- Strong bias for action: sees what needs to be done around meetings, roadshows and materials – and just does it without waiting for step-by-step instructions
- Motivated by ownership and responsibility, not by micromanagement or endless reporting
- Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is a plus, but not a strict requirement if you learn new products and markets quickly
