[Remote] Part-time Temporary HR Benefits Processor (Can be remote in Columbus or Sidney, Ohio)

Ferguson Construction is seeking a part-time temporary HR Benefits Processor to support employee benefits administration during a transition period. The role involves processing benefits deductions, auditing information, and maintaining accurate payroll records for a duration of 3-6 months.
Responsibilities
- Enter information in our HR Information System (iSolved)
- Audit deduction-related information in Excel
- Run reports and check them before sending deduction information to Sage Payroll for weekly pay runs
- Write Standard Operating Procedures to document how things are processed
- Keep deductions for all medical, COBRA and 401k plans accurate for payroll
- Enter absences in the timekeeping system
- Process 401k deduction changes and invoices
- Process HSA deductions and invoices
- Process all invoices for medical, life and disability policies
- Make Workers Compensation payments to employees on WC leaves
- Track weekly claim costs
- Other projects that leverage the unique skills of the person we hire
Skills
- At least 1 year of prior benefits administration experience
- Really good attention to detail and being highly accurate
- Strong collaboration skills
- Prior payroll experience
- ISolved experience
- Sage experience
