[Remote] Salesforce Programmer Analyst (Remote)

Parsons Corporation is a leading company in the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets, seeking a Salesforce Programmer Analyst to support Salesforce development initiatives. The role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, coding, configuring features, and providing ongoing support for Service Cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation or improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business analysts
- Strong analysis skills, to help with production troubleshooting, determining how a change may impact the system across the various objects and across integrated systems
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets business requirements
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and operational procedures
- Design, develop, unit test, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform with a primary focus on Service Cloud
- Strong Salesforce configuration skills with proficiency in Salesforce business automation tools
- Experience with building Communities, Reports and Dashboards
- Learning to use Copado for CICD deployments from sandbox to production
Skills
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of hands-on Salesforce.com development experience including APEX (triggers, classes, batch jobs), custom lightning web components (LWC or Aura), SOSL, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, web services and declarative tools (Flows, case assignment rules, validation rules)
- Experience with front end languages and backend tools for web engineering such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use critical thinking and logic skills to isolate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Great time management and prioritization skills; Strong ownership of quality in code, and user experience/user interface
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

- Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I preferred or in progress
