[Remote] Yard Jockey - Protein
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pilgrim's is a leading company in the protein conversion industry, and they are seeking a Yard Driver to manage the loading and unloading of trailers. The role involves ensuring the proper cooling of trailers and maintaining an orderly trailer lot.
Responsibilities
- Loading product to assigned carriers
- Moving trailers into and out of loading docks
- Checking all trailers and monitoring units to insure they are cooling properly
- Wash trailers as needed
- Assure trailer lot is kept neat and orderly
Skills
- High school diploma preferred and valid Driver's License
- Experience driving a tractor-trailer preferred
- Must be self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Excellent attendance, safety and work record
- Able to work in cold & damp area
- Able to lift 70 pounds easily
- Must have or be able to obtain low jack lift license
- Able to read and write legible
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must work well with management; must be a team player and have a positive attitude
