SV Academy has partnered with a Financial Technology company that revolutionizes payments infrastructure for SaaS companies. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive sales efforts, create demand, and build relationships that convert into qualified leads.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of our partner’s Ideal Customer Profile, core use cases, and value propositions to target the best-fit companies
  • Own and properly manage a healthy territory of high-fit accounts
  • Proactively generate conversations and effectively showcase their products across all channels: LinkedIn, cold calling, email, video, and region-specific channels (WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.)
  • Convert these meaningful engagements into qualified opportunities for their Account Executive team
  • Partner with the marketing department to collaborate on in-person and virtual events to generate demand
  • Use modern tools, including AI-powered workflows, to work smarter, personalise outreach, and improve performance
  • Manage and prioritise your time to consistently meet and exceed your targets
  • Bring a winner’s mindset and high-performance attitude to the team every day

Skills

  • Experience in a previous Sales / Business Development role as part of a SaaS or B2B company, and are always happy to proactively engage new customers through email and phone
  • Coachability, accountability, and consistency in your efforts to develop knowledge and results
  • A consultative and human sales approach that acknowledges that every conversation is different
  • Performance-driven, competitive, and energised by hitting and surpassing targets
