Salesforce MarTech Consultant
Deloitte is a leading consulting firm that empowers organizations to enhance customer relationships through innovative strategies and technologies. As a Salesforce MarTech Consultant, you will collaborate with clients to design and deliver marketing technology solutions, manage project execution, and drive knowledge transfer for Salesforce platforms.
Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end client implementations of Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including technical requirements gathering, solution design, configuration and activation
- Work with business stakeholders to translate their objectives into actionable user stories
- Manage assigned workstreams, reporting on progress, timelines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, developers, analytics, etc.) to drive project execution and ensure high-impact outcomes
- Apply Agile project management principles - helping organize governance, facilitate agile ceremonies, and enable collaborative decision-making
- Drive enablement and knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring client teams can operate and optimize their Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud environments post-go-live
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline
- 1+ years of project management experience (Agile frameworks preferred)
- 1-2 years experience delivering solutions with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC ecosystem platforms (i.e. Marketing Cloud Personalization, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, etc.)
- Understanding of technical concepts such as API integrations, data transformation (ETL) concepts, SQL, data modeling, and technical architecture
- Experience using collaboration and project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms to manage requirements, tasks, and documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for developing client-facing presentations
- Ability to travel 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; comfortable working with sophisticated business and technical challenges and deriving actionable solutions
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Experience in client-facing consulting or advisory roles
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, preferred but not required
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
