What You Will Be Doing

Develop MES and system integration solutions for various clients

High level language programming for a variety of applications, including Python, Java, and more.

Design and program databases, including stored procedures and reporting in platforms such as SQL

Design and program custom industrial applications, web based applications, and software using platforms including Ignition

Design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing user interfaces

Provide on-site system commissioning support as needed

Maintain a project focus, utilizing scrum/agile methodologies to create valuable increments, understand project scope and user perspective, and break deliverables down into user stories and tasks; while providing accurate time estimates for work

Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders

What You Need for this Position

BS in computer science, math, electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience

3-7 years of experience in software engineering and development, ideally in an industrial environment

Experience with Ignition

Understand at least two of the following: C#, C++, Java, Python and be a subject matter expert in at least one

Proficiency in the design/architecture and programming of SQL databases

Proficiency in web-based development and systems programming

Ability to quickly understand complex applications

Knowledge of and ability to apply industry standard software design practices and programming methodologies

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
