About us

We are Fixico, a fast-growing car damage repair platform backed by world-class Silicon Valley-based investors, scaling rapidly across Europe. Trusted by fleet owners, leasing, rental, and insurance companies, and with over 3,500 repair shops connected in 11 countries, Fixico has managed hundreds of thousands of repairs for some of the world’s biggest brands.

About the role

Our engineering team is the backbone of our platform and a critical part of our product-led growth. We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who thrives in high-autonomy environments, is excited by ownership, and loves solving real-world problems with technology. This is your chance to be part of a high-impact team shaping the future of a fast-growing tech company.

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable solutions that drive value for our users. You’ll play a key role in taking Fixico from feature factory to platform-first, bringing technical leadership and a strong product mindset to everything you do.

What you will be doing

  • Build and scale robust features across our stack (Laravel PHP, Node.js, React, Next.js)

Own technical solutions from concept to deployment and monitoring

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real customer challenges

Proactively shape our tech strategy and influence how we scale

Mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture

Continuously improve our use of tools, frameworks, and development practices

Our tech stack

  • Backend: PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (Node.js)

    Frontend: React, Next.js, Inertia.js

Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes

Other Tools: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs

Requirements

  • 5–6+ years of fullstack engineering experience

Strong knowledge of Laravel, Node.js, React, Next.js, and cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP)

Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments (startup/scale-up experience is a big plus)

Strong system design and problem-solving skills

Product-oriented mindset: You care about the why, not just the how

Passionate about clean code, testing, and building great user experiences

Proactive communicator who thrives in async, distributed teams

Nice to have

  • Experience building SaaS platforms

  • Familiarity with GCP tools and best practices

Experience in international teams or European markets

Why join us

  • Make a real impact in a company entering its next growth phase

Collaborate with talented, driven peers in a transparent and open environment

Work from our vibrant office in Amsterdam overlooking the Rijksmuseum - or remotely from anywhere in the EU

Take ownership and grow with the business, technically and professionally

Be part of a team that values autonomy, transparency, and real-world impact - direct access to leadership and decision-making processes
