Location: United States (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst – Workday to serve as the U.S. functional expert within our global Workday governance framework. This role ensures Workday effectively supports U.S. HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent processes for a large multi-state workforce while maintaining alignment with global standards, architecture, and system ownership.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across regions, influence enterprise HR technology strategy, and deliver compliant, scalable solutions that enable our people and business to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Workday System Expertise (U.S.)
Serve as the U.S. subject matter expert across Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Performance, Learning, Recruiting, and related modules

Configure, test, and implement U.S.-specific enhancements in coordination with global Workday teams

Maintain business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and security roles in accordance with global governance

Troubleshoot system issues impacting U.S. HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time functions

Global Collaboration & Governance
Act as the U.S. liaison to the global Workday team for system requests, releases, integrations, and security updates

Communicate U.S. regulatory and operational requirements to ensure alignment with global design standards

Participate in global governance forums and follow structured change management protocols

Lead U.S. testing for Workday releases and coordinate regression testing

Functional Partnership (U.S. Operations)
Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Operations leaders to translate business needs into Workday solutions

Provide expertise on U.S. multi-state compliance requirements, including payroll, timekeeping, and benefits regulations

Deliver Workday training, communications, and job aids to stakeholders

Develop reports and insights supporting HR and business decision-making

Travel required - minimal, determined by business need.

Data Integrity, Security & Compliance
Maintain high standards of Workday data accuracy and consistency

Support security role assignments aligned with global frameworks

Assist with internal and external audits (SOX, payroll, regulatory)

Ensure system configuration supports U.S. regulatory requirements while adhering to global constraints

Reporting & Analytics
Develop advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and data extracts for HR, Finance, and Operations

Ensure reporting aligns with global data standards and U.S. compliance needs (EEO, ACA, payroll audits, state reporting)

Qualifications

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field required

4–7+ years of hands-on Workday HRIS experience

Strong knowledge of U.S. HR operations, multi-state payroll, benefits, and compliance

Experience working within a global or shared-services governance model

Proficiency in Workday reporting, calculated fields, business processes, and troubleshooting

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred
Experience partnering with international Workday system owners

Workday Payroll, Benefits, Absence, or integrations experience

Workday Pro certifications

Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site operations

The salary range for this position is $103,400.00 - $129,300.00. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
