Senior Manager - Warehouse & Logistics

As an experienced logistics professional, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations on a PAN India basis. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Negotiating inbound and outbound contracts with transport and shipping companies to ensure cost-effective transport solutions.
- Managing operations of cross-functional units to optimize the customer service delivery cycle and ensure timely product delivery.
- Planning, directing, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
- Optimizing costs related to logistics and warehousing operations.
- Setting challenging logistics targets and driving the team towards their achievement.
- Implementing continuous improvements in SAP Business processes related to Logistics and Warehousing.
- Coordinating between multiple plants effectively.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong skills in planning, coordination, communication, and execution.
- Effective man management and interpersonal skills.
- Operational knowledge of SAP Module.
- Ability to drive cost reduction initiatives.

You will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain & Sourcing. The ideal candidate for this position would be a graduate in Engineering with a post-graduation in Supply Chain Management from a reputed organization. Candidates based in Delhi/NCR region will be given preference. Previous experience in the building material industry is highly desirable.
