The role

Ideals is growing fast, with 400+ team members across 30+ countries. We’re searching for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine (or nearby).

In this role, you’ll take ownership of driving and scaling core People Ops processes across our fast-growing, multinational team. From onboarding and office support to benefits, policies, and internal communications — you’ll build and refine systems that ensure a seamless, consistent employee experience across all locations. Your work will directly shape how we support our team across 25+ countries, helping us scale our culture, operations, and people practices in a way that enables global growth and keeps our employees connected, engaged, and empowered.

You’ll report to the Director of People Operations and collaborate closely with teams such as Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, IT, and a range of external partners.

What you will do

  • Ensure an exceptional employee experience through consistent and high-quality People Ops service delivery

    Own and drive global onboarding and offboarding processes

    Oversee benefits management and support ongoing improvements

    Manage HRIS (BambooHR) with a focus on data accuracy and process optimization

    Create and maintain internal policies, including the Ideals Employee & Manager Handbooks

    Contribute to cross-functional projects to scale and optimize People Ops in a fast-growing, global team

    Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives

    What you bring

    • Advanced English — both written and spoken

      3+ years in a People Ops / HR Generalist role

      Experience supporting teams across 3+ countries

      Strong critical thinking and high personal work standards

      Clear, people-centered communication with a global mindset

      Excellent prioritization and adaptability in fast-changing environments

      Naturally curious, proactive, and solution-oriented

      Conflict resolution or mediation experience

      Nice to have

      • Experience working with Employers of Record (EORs)

        Solid understanding of local labor law and international compliance

        Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems and SLA/KPI tracking

        Experience in HRIS and system implementation

        Interest and day-to-day usage of AI (curiosity in AI tools)

        Experience in organizing internal events or team gatherings

          Test task (3 days to complete); Q&A if necessary (30 min); test task presentation (60 min)

          Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (60 mins)

          Hiring Manager Interview (60 mins)
