ServiceNow Developer

Remote, USA
Posted Jun 14, 2026
Full-time

Overview:
Our client is building their pipeline of ServiceNow Developers to connect with European clients working across a range of implementations — ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and beyond.
Whether you're mid-level and growing fast or senior and looking for meaningful technical challenges, we want to hear from you.
This is not a role for someone who has watched a few courses and is ready to experiment on a client environment. This is for developers who have built, configured, and delivered in production — who know what can go wrong and how to get ahead of it.

What you'll be doing
Exact scope depends on the client and engagement, but across our ServiceNow placements you can expect to work on things like:
Designing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform (ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications)

Building and customizing workflows, flows, and business rules using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor

Developing and maintaining integrations with third-party systems via REST, SOAP, or MID Server

Writing clean, well-tested server-side (Glide) and client-side scripts

Configuring service catalog items, SLAs, notifications, and dashboards

Participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions with client stakeholders

Troubleshooting issues in production and proposing sustainable, not just fast, fixes

Core requirements:
Demonstrable hands-on experience developing on ServiceNow in production environments

Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model, scoped applications, and platform architecture

Experience with at least one major module: ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or custom app development

Proficiency in JavaScript (Glide API, client scripts, business rules, script includes)

Comfort working with REST APIs and platform integrations

Strong communication skills

Nice to have:
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS — any module)

Experience with Performance Analytics, reporting, or the CMDB

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Exposure to multiple modules across the platform
