Software Engineer
QualityLogic is a leader in the development of test tools for smart grid interoperability. They are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of test systems for smart inverters and EV infrastructure, focusing on equipment automation control and customer support related to lab equipment.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of equipment automation control by using SCPI programming language using C++
- Create well designed C++ implementation that is modular, robust and optimized
- Provide excellent customer support related to lab equipment control and automation
Skills
- Must have at least a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent major
- 1-3 years of experience in development of lab equipment control and automation using SCPI
- Competent in C++ language
- Experience in the IEEE 1547 standards or similar grid standards a major plus
- Experience with Ametek, Keysight, Pacific Power, ITech or other grid simulator products a major plus
