Solution Specialist - Autodesk Forma

This is a fully remote position with hybrid availability in Nashua, NH and Springfield, MO.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a member of Symetri's Construction Services Team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how AECO firms plan, design, and deliver projects utilizing Autodesk Forma. The Solution Specialist: Autodesk Forma is responsible for both delivering successful Autodesk Forma implementations and helping the sales team grow Autodesk Forma opportunities. This role combines hands-on technical consulting, workflow expertise, presales strategy, and sales enablement. The ideal person in this role is equally comfortable configuring client workflows, leading training sessions, supporting technical demos, shaping service scopes, and coaching sales teams on how to find and close the right Autodesk Forma opportunities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Autodesk Forma Implementation Responsibilities (50%)
Client Discovery & Workflow Assessment
Lead or support discovery sessions to understand existing workflows, systems, and project delivery methods
Document processes, pain points, user roles, and business objectives
Identify opportunities to improve planning, collaboration, coordination, and data management
Define success metrics and measurable implementation outcomes
Configuration & Implementation Support
Deliver guided configuration sessions for Autodesk Forma solutions
Assist with setup of projects, roles, permissions, templates, and standards
Align workflows with client needs and best practices
Provide guidance on integrations within the Autodesk ecosystem
Training & Adoption
Deliver role-based training for administrators, teams, and end users
Develop training materials and documentation
Support onboarding and early adoption efforts
Promote best practices across project lifecycles
Workflow Optimization & Documentation
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and collaboration
Support standardization of processes across teams
Document configurations, recommendations, and next steps
Identify opportunities for expanded services and ongoing support
Technical Presales Support (50%)
Opportunity Development & Qualification
Participate in discovery calls with prospects and clients
Identify challenges aligned to Autodesk Forma capabilities
Translate business needs into solution recommendations
Assess technical fit, readiness, and opportunity value
Solution Positioning & Demonstrations
Position Autodesk Forma across AECO roles and use cases
Align messaging with outcomes such as improved visibility, reduced risk, and better data management
Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations
Show how Forma integrates within client technology ecosystems
Scope Development & Sales Enablement
Contribute to scopes of work, roadmaps, and implementation plans
Estimate timelines, effort, and dependencies
Support proposals and statements of work
Develop sales enablement materials and coach teams on opportunity identification
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Autodesk Forma and related AECO workflows
Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and the broader Autodesk ecosystem
Ability to configure, demonstrate, and support cloud-based project delivery platforms
Understanding of design, construction, and project information management processes
Skilled in developing implementation plans, adoption roadmaps, and workflow improvements
Consulting & Communication Skills
Strong client discovery, interviewing, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to translate business challenges into practical technology solutions
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
Experience facilitating workshops and supporting organizational change
Ability to balance industry best practices with client-specific needs
Presales & Sales Enablement
Experience supporting sales qualification and opportunity strategy
Confidence delivering technical demos and executive-level presentations
Ability to articulate value in business terms
Skilled in identifying risks, assumptions, and scope boundaries
Ability to coach sales teams, create enablement materials, and support pipeline growth
