What you'll do

We’re looking for a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our People Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will act as a recognized specialist within the team, independently delivering end-to-end operational improvements, driving key People technology initiatives, and proactively identifying opportunities to leverage automation and AI to elevate the experience for employees, managers, and People teams. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across People, IT, and business teams to architect scalable, efficient, and employee-focused operations, balancing internal priorities with customer impact.
 
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations.
 
Responsibility
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute People operations processes and enhance the experience for candidates, employees, managers, and People partners

Analyze operational workflows across the People technology ecosystem and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AI-enabled improvements

Gather and document business needs, operational pain points, process requirements, and workflows in partnership with stakeholders

Collaborate cross functionally to deliver the implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of People systems and operational processes

Coordinate system enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing improvements across HR technology platforms

Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), document results, and support issue remediation

Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, user guides, and operational playbooks to support adoption of new tools and workflows

Build and scale repeatable operational processes, templates, and workflows across the People organization

Track operational requests, timelines, risks, and action items to support successful execution of initiatives

Stay informed on trends in People Operations, HR technology, automation, and AI to continuously improve processes and employee experiences

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic
5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, HRIS, People Technology, or related operational roles

Experience supporting HR systems such as Workday

Experience with Workday HCM, including core areas such as Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, and Recruiting

Experience supporting operational process improvements, workflow optimization, system enhancements, or automation initiatives

Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting testing activities

Experience applying HR processes and People Operations best practices

Experience creating documentation, training materials, or operational resources

Experience with automation tools, AI solutions, workflow optimization, or operational transformation initiatives

 
Preferred
Experience with Workday business processes, security, organizational structures, or integrations

Familiarity with tools such as Docusign, Visier, Jira, ServiceNow, or workflow automation platforms

Experience supporting change management, technology adoption, or operational transformation initiatives

Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation tools, or low-code/no-code solutions

Experience building scalable operational processes, templates, or playbooks adopted across teams

Experience supporting fast-paced, high-growth, or cross-functional operational environments

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
 
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
 
California: $98,000.00 - $142,450.00 base salary
 
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $93,500.00 - $121,475.00 base salary
 
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $93,500.00 - $127,400.00 base salary
 
Washington DC: $98,000.00 - $127,400.00 base salary
 
Ohio: $83,500.00 - $108,550.00 base salary 
 
 
This role is also eligible for the following:
Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
