Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager on the Platform team, you'll streamline the path for products to integrate with Renaissance, powering Renaissance's vision for personalized teaching and learning. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, UX, and fellow product managers—to transform individual app experiences into user-focused Renaissance solutions. You’ll manage product roadmaps and backlogs, as well as integration project plans.

You’ll develop broad technical expertise of Renaissance platform capabilities and product integration requirements. You’ll also coordinate with other product managers and GTM teams to develop launch plans. Success in this role will be defined by how efficiently we can add new value to Renaissance Intelligence and drive new business.

As a Senior Product Manager, Next Platform, you will:

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Design and execute a platform roadmap for insight capabilities that address real customer needs, leveraging data from Renaissance's educational assets (assessments, skill practice, reading activities, and instruction)

End-to-End Product Development: Lead the software development lifecycle from discovery to launch, translating high-level launch goals and initiatives into tactical integration plans to reach those goals.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate and influence stakeholders across the organization on data-driven initiatives that support broader company strategy

Team Management: Work closely with 1-2 engineering teams to execute roadmap deliverables

AI-Forward Innovation: Apply generative AI tools and stay current with industry trends to solve user challenges and maintain competitive advantage

Data-Driven Decision Making: Use strong analytical skills to interpret data, inform priorities, and drive enhancements that deliver measurable business and user value

Governance & Ethics: Champion data governance best practices and ensure ethical AI principles guide product development

Engineering Partnership: Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to define product requirements and release criteria

Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner with marketing and solution teams to develop product positioning and communicate key benefits

For this role as Senior Product Manager, Platform, you must have: 

A bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Operations, Marketing, or equivalent; or a Bachelor’s degree in another discipline plus substantial Product Management experience, training and/or certification; MBA a plus

5+ years of progressively accountable product strategy, product lifecycle, with demonstrated results of success, or equivalent of relevant experience

Ability to prioritize work, make tradeoffs, drive deadlines, and deliver projects on time, on budget

Demonstrated experience nurturing a culture that celebrates diversity of thought and perspectives, openness to new ideas, critical thinking, and cross-team collaboration

Thrives in working in a cross-functional environment

Experience working with product managers and engineering leaders to translate product vision into technical vision and integration roadmap

Experience in working with diverse technologies, systems, and devices.

Experience with Scrum/Agile software development framework and methodologies, preferably working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects

The below compensation range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location. 

Salary Range
$109,500—$150,550 USD
