Total Rewards Specialist II, Payroll
Vertafore is a leading technology company advancing the insurance industry with innovative software solutions. They are hiring a Total Rewards Specialist to support payroll administration, tax compliance, and general Total Rewards programs, requiring adaptability and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Complete bi-weekly payrolls and support all day-to-day payroll functions for our U.S. employees
- Complete weekly expense report auditing and payment processing for U.S. employees
- Assist in processing payroll integrations for our Canada and India employees
- Maintain and manage employee information in the HRIS/Payroll systems
- Maintain and manage tax notifications and filings with third party vendor
- Assist with quarterly and year-end reconciliations and W-2 processing
- Streamline processes and procedures as necessary within the payroll function
- Assist with benefits, unemployment, and other employee programs as needed
- Assist with HRIS systems, compensation tasks and HRIS/Payroll reporting as needed
- Research and resolve employee HR and Payroll inquiries in a clear, concise, and timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Minimum 1 years of Payroll experience
- Strong computer skills – especially Microsoft products
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Desire to learn and grow a career in Payroll
- Workday experience preferred
- Concur expense software experience a plus preferred
