Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute Adelaide’s financial strategy aligned with company objectives
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team
- Lead and mentor the finance function while building a high-performance culture
- Oversee accounting operations, including billing, AR/AP, general ledger, and revenue recognition
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Lead budgeting processes and financial forecasting while monitoring performance against targets
- Own the FP&A function and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
- Provide financial analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency, growth, and investment
- Develop KPIs and dashboards that track company performance and financial health
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and capital planning
- Ensure adequate liquidity to support operational and growth initiatives
- Oversee financial risk management and insurance programs
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance frameworks
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
- Manage external audits and relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other partners
- Serve as a key financial liaison with the Board of Directors and external stakeholders
- Prepare and present financial reporting and insights to leadership and the board
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Proven leadership experience overseeing accounting, FP&A, tax, and treasury functions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience building financial processes and systems in growing companies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks
- Experience building or scaling finance operations in a startup or growth-stage company
- Experience working closely with CEOs or executive teams on financial strategy
- Prior experience supporting board reporting or investor communications
- Prior experience with capital raises and corporate development/M&A
