Title : .NET developer
Client : United Airlines
Location : Hybrid 1-2 days in either Chicago or Houston office
Top 5 Skill sets:
1. .NET Core / C#
2. Strong with design patterns
3. AWS
4. Relational & Non-relational databases
5. NUnit / XUnit
Prior United is a huge plus, prior airline is good, but what makes them standout would be AWS and .Net knowledge, or at least strong .Net knowledge.
You will be part of a new project building an Offer generation engine for customer flight shopping. This role is focused on development of critical backend microservices and APIs used across multiple products. Developers on our team are looked to as technical leaders who own reliable delivery of products within their space.
We are looking for developers with a spirit of innovation, a passion for details, and a drive to win as a team.
• Hands-on development, support and fix software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions.
• Estimate work in support of sprint and release planning as well as long-range road mapping.
• Ensure on-time and high-quality product delivery.
• Develop and implement unit tests and support functional, non-functional testing.
• Prepare and release products through non-production and production environments.
• Support new products through deployment lifecycle.
Work Schedule: Hybrid
Hybrid 1-2 days in either Chicago or Houston office with potential to change due to business needs
Contract to Hire possible depending on business need and resource.
Possible minimal travel between Chicago and Houston office for project meetings.
The position can be located in either Houston, which is preferred, or Chicago- depends on where candidate is located.
