Takt is looking for a Website Content Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality website projects for clients. The role involves hands-on content entry, page configuration, and collaboration with various teams to ensure smooth project launches.

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure website pages in WordPress or similar CMS, ensuring accuracy and consistency with approved page designs, wireframes, and copybooks
  • Enter content provided by client or internal team, and assess formatting needs such as image cropping, image swaps, module swaps, or other adjustments
  • Create clear, user-friendly content editing guides (PDFs) that document custom website modules and functionality for client reference
  • Enter SEO metadata, configure plugins, build and connect forms, and handle other website tasks for overall site configuration and functionality
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, and the Technical PM to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the website build process

Skills

  • 1-3 years experience working with website content, digital marketing, or web project coordination
  • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, digital media, or equivalent industry experience
  • Portfolio or examples of websites you've worked on (content entry, QA, or coordination roles)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Clear, professional written communication
  • Collaborative team player who takes direction well and asks questions when needed
  • Proactive problem-solver who flags issues early, and brings ideas or solutions to the table
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new tools and processes
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress content management (entering content, building pages, working with Gutenberg)
  • Understanding of web content best practices including content hierarchy, readability, and user experience
  • Ability to follow design specifications and ensure content matches approved layouts
  • Comfortable creating clear documentation and instructions for non-technical audiences
  • WordPress
  • Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Spreadsheets)
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and how content impacts search performance
  • Experience with Google Analytics or website analytics platforms
  • Content marketing experience
  • UX design principles or web design fundamentals
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience with other CMS platforms (Wix, Squarespace, Craft CMS, Shopify)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (we use Bugherd)
