They are seeking a Summer Intern for their Autonomous Vehicle, Sensor Hardware and Technology Development team to assist in developing engineering designs and collaborating with various teams to ensure performance specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develops engineering designs (including subsystems) and implements engineering changes
  • Develops requirements & subsystem technical specifications as required
  • Execute sensor-level tests on prototype vehicles
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration teams to ensure performance meets specifications
  • Perform bench and lab testing, debug hardware issues, and document results in collaboration
  • Support integration, calibration, and environmental operating domain evaluation for cameras, radars and lidars

Skills

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, System Design, Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent)
  • Must be graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Coursework or project experience in Python or Matlab or embedded microcontrollers
  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week
  • Basic understanding of automotive control systems, ADAS features, sensors, or electronics
  • Familiarity with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python
  • Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
