Responsibilities 

Perform financial statement analysis

Perform balance sheet reconciliations

Oversee billing process and reconciliations

Prepare monthly financial reporting

Analyze financial statements to suggest improvements to workflow and cash flow

Prepare budgets for business owners

Review client financials

Review year-end financials for the tax team

Manage client ADP payroll

Manage sales tax compliance

Support and enhance internal business unit and firm operations by acquiring knowledge of firm operations and identifying opportunities for improvement

Participate in and/or manage internal projects

Proactively maintain and expand knowledge base in areas of responsibility. Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues, as appropriate

 Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with a major in accounting or finance.

4 plus years of related work experience, as well as the ability to work independently with technical competence in accounting

A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and focus under deadlines.

Ability to problem-solve and think both creatively and logically.

Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite, are essential

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience working in a professional services firm is a plus
