Associate Account Sales Executive - Automotive Software
CDK Global is a leading provider of cloud-based software to dealerships and Original Equipment Manufacturers in the automotive industry. The Associate Account Sales Executive is responsible for creating business relationships and increasing CRM revenue through face-to-face sales activities, while working under the guidance of the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Under guidance provided from Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:
- Identify new opportunities for our CRM with existing customers currently using our DMS (Dealer Management System
- Grow and maintain existing accounts
- Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach
- Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
Skills
- Must live in Minneapolis area
- At least 1-2 years of demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships in a b2b sales environment
- Automotive retail experience
- Experience using consultative solution selling to align client's business needs with a solution
- Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
- Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based
- 75% travel with overnight travel expected
- Knowledge of CDK CRM software - highly preferred
- Initiative and self-starter
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred, not required
