Business Development Rep
Baselayer is a trusted business identity platform for financial institutions, providing solutions to verify businesses and monitor risk. As a Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, qualifying leads and creating opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities through both inbound qualification and outbound outreach
- Qualify leads using a consultative approach to uncover pain points and match them with Baselayer’s solutions
- Expand the sales pipeline by executing both warm and cold outbound campaigns
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and add them to the outreach list
- Work directly with CEO and co-founders to scale the business
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in finance, fintech, consulting or venture capital
- Problem-solver who navigates the unknown confidently
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year university
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic settings
- Relentless about continuous career growth
