Convention Center Support Technician I
Boldyn Networks is reimagining the future of interconnectivity, and they are seeking a Convention Center Support Technician I. This role involves managing on-site connectivity for clients during conferences, providing technical support, and ensuring a positive experience for event organizers and attendees.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of technical equipment and systems
- Interact with event organizers and attendees to address technical issues and ensure a positive experience
- Ensure all setups comply with safety regulations and standards
- Keep track of equipment inventory and report any damages or losses
- The schedule will vary depending on the needs of the conventions
Skills
- A background check including driving record will be pulled as the job requires driving to/from convention centers
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a convention center or event venue
- Proficient with modern audio-visual equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service abilities
- Basic Cisco connectivity experience, CCNA preferred
- Excellent customer service experience and top-notch verbal and written communication skills
