They are seeking a Sales Assistant to join their Group Protection Distribution Team, where the role involves supporting Sales Representatives with RFP management and ensuring effective communication with brokers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • You will gather, evaluate and assess information to complete request for proposals (RFPs), potential clients and sold cases partnering directly with your Sales Rep, Underwriter, and broker
  • You will influence market growth with RFP accuracy and exceptional sold case submissions by being knowledgeable and thorough with daily activities
  • You will coordinate and perform pre and post sale activities in partnership with marketing, underwriting, IT , billing, compliance and legal. In addition, you will support benefit fair activities, including creating benefit summaries and plan grids tailored to clients specific plan and design rates
  • You will build trusting relationships with our internal and external partners to maintain a valuable marketplace presence and uphold our commitment to the customer
  • You will identify, recommend and champions process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality

Skills

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
  • 0 - 1+ Years' experience in a sales environment with general insurance background
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt as needed
  • Ability to maneuver through multiple systems
