They are seeking a passionate and motivated Defensive Immigration Attorney to manage a caseload, collaborate with team members, and provide legal advice on immigration matters.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for immigration law cases
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on immigration matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, and general removal defense
- Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence with precision and attention to detail
- Provide effective guidance and support to clients throughout the immigration process
- Lead and manage multiple case files with strong organizational skills
- Collaborate with team members to enhance legal strategies and case outcomes
- Stay updated on evolving immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance
Skills
- Active bar membership
- 0-3 years of experience in immigration law
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Proficiency in conducting thorough legal research using legal platforms
- Fluency in Spanish and/or other languages
- Additional experience in specific immigration law specialties or areas of practice
