**Responsibilities:**

As a Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

* **Building Sales**: Help our branch achieve sales growth by maintaining house accounts, communicating new product launches, services, supplies, prices, and new products sales and discounts via outbound calls and in-house counter discussions.
* **Maintaining Sales Programs**: Keep customers informed about available services, supplies, prices, and new products within assigned territories.
* **Providing Exceptional Customer Service**: Deliver outstanding customer experiences via walk-ins, phone calls, and emails, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* **Executing Sales Functions**: Process orders, manage purchase orders, handle payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* **Recommend Alternate Products**: Suggest alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications, as needed.
* **Coordinating Shipments**: Obtain and monitor scheduled shipment dates, expedite as needed, and coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors.
* **Generating New Sales**: Provide timely product and technical information to generate new and repeat sales.
* **Educating Customers**: Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
* **Assisting with Warranties and Returns**: Help customers with warranties and returns, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
* **Collaborating with Branch Manager**: Work with the Branch Manager to resolve problems, ensure customer satisfaction, and adhere to company policies.
* **Daily Cash Drawer Processing**: Process cash drawer transactions, perform end-of-shift counts, prepare deposit slips, and maintain accurate records.
* **Monitoring Customer Satisfaction**: Periodically reach out to customers to determine satisfaction with our products, services, and overall experience.
* **Staying Up-to-Date with Industry Trends**: Expand knowledge of HVAC products and stay current with the latest industry trends and developments.
* **Working with Colleagues**: Collaborate with all levels of management and peers to ensure a cohesive and effective team effort.

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* **6+ Years of Progressive Sales and Customer Service Experience**: Proven track record of sales and customer service success, with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
* **5+ Years in the HVAC Industry**: In-depth knowledge of HVAC equipment, products, and industry trends, with a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences.
* **High School Diploma or GED Equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
* **HVAC Certification**: HVAC certification is preferred, but not required.
* **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and management.
* **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and database applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* **Physical Requirements**: Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
