Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) is seeking an Analyst to join its Financial Institution’s Group. This position offers the opportunity to grow as a ratings and financial institutions research professional while developing analytical skills and producing research reports.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop specialized analytical skills in terms of financial statement analysis including ratio analysis for a variety of financial sectors
  • Demonstrated attention to detail skills and willingness to see that tasks are followed through to completion
  • Play a key role in the production of standardized research and ad hoc reports including extensive use of Excel for data population and manipulation for use in published analytical reports
  • Willingness to collaborate with analysts in disparate locations and learn new skills

Skills

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (with a preference for at least 12 semester hours or four courses in accounting if not an accounting major)
  • Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or accounting
  • Strong proficiency with Excel including Macros, VLOOKUP's, and Pivot Tables
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop specialized analytical skills in terms of financial statement analysis including ratio analysis for a variety of financial sectors
  • Demonstrated attention to detail skills and willingness to see that tasks are followed through to completion
  • Play a key role in the production of standardized research and ad hoc reports including extensive use of Excel for data population and manipulation for use in published analytical reports
  • Willingness to collaborate with analysts in disparate locations and learn new skills
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity
