Geek Squad Services Agent
Best Buy is a leading technology retailer committed to enriching lives through technology. As a Geek Squad Services Agent, you will perform technology services both in customers’ homes and in the local store, including delivery, installation, and repairs of electronic products.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with customers by providing and fulfilling recommendations regarding product, service, content (including membership)
- Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow up and ensure commitments are met or exceeded
- Perform advanced complexity work and de-escalate difficult customer interactions as needed
- Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance in partnership with other Agents, process paperwork and payment, and provide feedback and training opportunities
- Travel to customers’ homes to perform basic delivery and installation
- Perform technical work within the retail location
Skills
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a current, valid driver's license and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards
- Ability to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, to perform job effectively
- Ability to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation, up to 150 pounds as part of a team, and between 150 – 250 pounds as part of a team and/or with support tools such as harnesses or lifts
- 3 months delivery or installation or computer troubleshooting experience
- 3 months of customer service experience
- 6 months of consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration and troubleshooting experience
