TKDA is a dynamic firm dedicated to shaping the future of urban mobility. As a Graduate Engineer in Transportation - Traffic, you will develop innovative solutions to transportation challenges and work alongside a team of engineers to enhance infrastructure safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Observing and collecting traffic data
- Performing intersection evaluations
- Completing traffic and corridor studies
- Conducting analyses using simulation and modeling software
- Preparing preliminary and final designs
- Developing construction plans for traffic signals
- Lighting
- Construction staging
- Maintenance of traffic
- Signing/striping
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Strong interest in Traffic Engineering
- Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid Driver's license
- BS degree with emphasis in Traffic Engineering or Transportation
- Internship or professional experience in traffic study, traffic plan development or related transportation projects
- Previous experience or training with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Prior experience or general working knowledge of traffic analysis software, including Synchro / SimTraffic, VISSIM, RODEL, or CORSIM
