Graphic Designer
Freepik is a company focused on redefining the future of creativity through AI and innovation. They are looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team in the Bay Area, responsible for producing and maintaining marketing assets across digital and print while collaborating closely with the Marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver assets such as:
- Social media posts (static, carousel, story formats)
- Promo/campaign materials (multi-size, multi-version, platform-ready)
- Printables (flyers, posters, one-pagers, event materials, etc.)
- PDFs and downloadables (guides, worksheets, lead magnets, kits)
- Google Slides decks (templates + ongoing edits, export-ready files)
- Create and maintain templates in Figma (and Slides when needed) to support scalable, consistent production
- Keep assets up to date as messaging, offers, dates, pricing, or legal lines change
- Work in close collaboration with Marketing to interpret briefs, prioritize requests, and iterate quickly
- Ensure outputs are polished and consistent (layout, typography, spacing, image quality, exports)
- Use AI tools to accelerate production and image prep (generation/editing/cleanup/upscaling), with strong quality control and brand-safe judgment
Skills
- A portfolio that shows excellent visual taste and strong fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition
- Advanced Figma skills (components, auto layout, libraries, scalable templates, clean file structure)
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills: Photoshop (retouching, cleanup, image prep), Illustrator (vector assets, icons, simple illustration work)
- Comfort working in Google Slides (template setup, polish, rapid edits)
- AI fluency: you can use AI to move faster and refine results so they look intentional and high quality
- Native or bilingual level of English—you'll be working primarily in that language
- Organized, dependable, and responsive—comfortable working with feedback and multiple stakeholders
- Print production knowledge (bleeds, margins, PDF export standards)
- Experience in a fast-moving marketing environment
- Basic motion/animation experience (optional)
