New Business Manager
Equitable is a company committed to helping clients secure their financial well-being. The New Business Manager will provide support for New Business processes for Greater New York/Connecticut Advisors, train new advisors, and coordinate with service centers to facilitate new business support.
Responsibilities
- Provide New Business Support for Greater New York/Connecticut Advisors
- Train New Advisors on New Business Processes
- Coordinate with Service Centers to Facilitate New Business support / response
- Build and maintain key-person relationships with Service Center Staff to expedite New Business review and issue
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to other offices throughout the NY tri-State Area
Skills
- 1-2 years Experience in Financial Services new business processing
- Proven experience building relationship within an organization
- Proactive approach to New Business process training
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
- Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
