What You Get to Do:   

The Onboarding Success team exists to build strong, long-term relationships with our clients through successful new client implementations. As the first impression of client service, this team sets the tone for the future of the relationship.   

The Onboarding Success Manager will provide an excellent first experience with Sequoia and ensure a seamless client transition onto Sequoia Platform for new clients and will have the opportunity to closely partner with many cross-functional teams in the process. 

This position is based in Tempe, Arizona and only candidates within a commutable distance to our Tempe office will be considered.

Candidates must have strong customer service skills and some technical background.    

Project manage multiple new client implementations simultaneously.  

Act as primary Sequoia point of contact for client contacts during onboarding.  

Educate our client contacts on Sequoia's service model / offerings and support them throughout implementation. 

Partner closely with internal teams including sales, analysts, systems, data operations, ongoing client service teams, etc. to set the client up for a successful Sequoia partnership.  

Configure Sequoia Platform based on client’s specifications and train the client on how to use the platform, while recommending process improvements as you learn about their business and practices.  

Deliver employee-facing education sessions on employee benefits programs.  

Manage and resolve customer support tickets, ensuring timely responses and resolutions. 

Transition clients to ongoing service/support once onboarding is complete. 

What You Bring:   

Bachelor's Degree   

5+ years of Client Service or implementation experience   

Strong project management skills    

Ideal candidate has experience in at least one of the following: health benefits, HR or payroll; PEO experience highly preferred 

Ability to communicate and work across client organizations (HR, CEO, CFO)   

Ability to build strong relationships with client contacts as well as internal cross-functional team members involved in the new client implementation process 

Solutions-oriented team player who takes initiative and is accountable for results    

Detail and process-oriented    

Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills   

Ability to understand client needs and deliver results under tight deadlines
