[Remote] APPRENTICE EPIC CLINICAL ANALYST (PHARMACY)

The Apprentice Epic Clinical Analyst - Pharmacy role is designed for hands-on experience in supporting the implementation and maintenance of Epic EHR applications, including system build, testing, and end-user support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Epic Configuration: Support customization and configuration of Epic applications to meet organizational needs
- Workflow Analysis: Observe and document clinical and administrative workflows to understand system requirements
- Testing & Validation: Participate in testing new builds, upgrades, and patches to ensure accuracy and functionality
- End-User Support: Help troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to experienced analysts
- Training Support: Assist in creating user guides and training materials for member staff
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system changes, workflows, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced analysts and clinical teams to learn best practices in healthcare IT
- Engage in training and development activities to build analytical and technical skills
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Must have successfully completed an OCHIN workforce training program or have similar experience such as having held a position for at least 10 months within an OCHIN support team or a member site
- Epic proficiency in Clinical Applications must be obtained within 60-days of employment
- Interest in data analysis, problem solving and continuous learning
- Basic understanding of healthcare operations and EHR systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new tools and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment
- Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English
- Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment

- Pharmacy knowledge, experience with Willow or other Pharmacy software is preferred. Candidates with Pharmacy experience/knowledge will be given priority
