[Remote] Associate Attorney- Remote, VA

Fox Point Recruitment LLC is a rapidly growing regional Creditors Rights law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies. The role requires delivering high-quality legal representation while managing a high-volume caseload and communicating effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills
- Handles high volume caseload and provides expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks
- Negotiates with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases
- Willing to travel to various courts within the state of Virginia, if needed, as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings
- Works with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results
Skills
- 0-3 years experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation, attending court proceedings and associated regulations
- J.D. from an accredited law school with an Active license to practice law in VA
- Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding Time Management skills
- A license to practice law in other states in our footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus but not mandatory
