[Remote] Buisness Development Representative (BDR)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SalesAssistIQ is a fast-growing AI-powered sales intelligence platform transforming B2B sales processes. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to generate high-quality leads, qualify prospects, and set appointments for the sales team using their innovative platform.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify target accounts that match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) across insurance, executive search, financial services, and professional services verticals
- Use SalesAssistIQ’s own platform to generate stakeholder intelligence and personalized outreach strategies
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads through multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and social selling)
- Conduct discovery conversations to qualify prospects using BANT+ methodology (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline, and fit criteria)
- Score and prioritize leads based on buying signals, engagement patterns, and propensity to purchase
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and qualification data in our CRM
- Schedule qualified discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly targets for qualified meetings set
- Ensure smooth handoffs with detailed prospect briefings and context
- Partner closely with marketing to optimize lead generation campaigns and messaging
- Provide market feedback on prospect objections, competitive landscape, and messaging effectiveness
- Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and contribute to sales strategy discussions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales development, business development, or inside sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Experience in the use of AI tools to assist and add leverage to your efforts
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and ability to handle rejection professionally
- Experience selling to enterprise B2B buyers in insurance, professional services, or financial services
- Familiarity with sales intelligence tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, or similar)
- Understanding of solution selling or consultative sales methodologies
